A Personal Reading: Queen of Hearts and Empress Energy

I had intended to pull cards from one of my oracle decks, but my playing cards were closer, so I used those instead. I don’t always give my playing cards the love they deserve. They’re the OG divination tool for me outside of pen and paper. I started having more direct communication with my spirit folks using just this simple deck of playing cards with a few notes scribbled on them. I’d even venture to say these cards are a tad more efficient to communicate with than any other deck I own.

Not too long ago, my daughter came in the room while I was shuffling my cards and getting ready to do a reading with someone. She wanted to know what I was doing, but I’ve been hesitant to fully introduce her into that world because she’s only 9. However, the tears started to flow because she really wanted to know what Mommy was doing, and I couldn’t resist.

Personal Angel Card Reading 1/21/2024

This is another one of those personal readings that I am sharing publicly because I’m sure there’s someone who can relate.

Sometimes I absolutely feel like a broken record with my prayers. This year has gotten off to a rocky start for me and, per usual, my finances are not what I would like for them to be. I woke up this morning, praying about it before I even got out of bed. Then, I went around my house spraying money spray, lighting incense, singing money mantras, and lighting my money candle. 

A Personal Birthday Reading

This weekend I am honoring my birthday.

I decided to pull a few cards today to get an idea of what my spiritual team sees for my next year of life, even though I could’ve asked them directly. It’s fun to use the cards sometimes.

The overarching message I’m receiving from these cards is that this year is my year. I’ve been getting to know my spirit people a lot better these last couple of months and they have been working overtime to prove to me that they are who they say they are and that they are legit. They’ve been amazing. I am able to see them and experience them now in ways that I couldn’t before. It’s been a rollercoaster, but I’m glad I have the chance to ride it.

What’s really been going on is I’ve been going through something like a spiritual boot camp. I’ve prayed for more help embracing my spiritual gifts and I have received that help. Regular price for this reading is $500. That includes tarot, oracle, and pendulum readings in one session. My magic is based on the Bible, however, I am open to working with people from all backgrounds. For an additional $100, I will also divine via bibliomancy. Blue Moon Card Pull August 2023

Oracle Deck: Abusua Pa Love Oracle Cards of Eden

It is no surprise to me that I drew this card. I asked Spirit to tell me what I needed to work on for this Blue Moon and I pulled the Heal card. 

This card could mean spiritual or emotional healing just as well as it could be referring to the physical. In my case, I believe it is referring to the physical. Since my mom passed away at the age of 59 in January 2020, my own mortality has been on my mind. These last several weeks, it has been on my mind heavily. 

I finally have health insurance, so I decided to actually use it and get a wellness check. Everything is fine except for the things I expected and even that isn’t life-threatening. 

Overall, despite being a fluffy girl, I have a clean bill of health. However, I’m not comfortable with where my numbers are. Many of them are either on the very high side or very low side of good. There’s very little in between. Low iron. Good cholesterol though it is closer to the threshold than I’d like. 

Between having the thought put into my spirit in recent months and pulling cards that directly call out my health, I think I get the message. 

For a little background, I did an angel card reading for myself several days ago and one of the cards I drew had a message that told me to do more yoga.

I’m going to be a good child and listen. More green tea, more yoga, less dessert.

New Year’s Reading with Romany Cards

I decided to do a little work on myself by doing a full self-reading. I chose my Romany cards because I haven’t used them in a very long time and these were the first deck of illustrated cards that I ever worked with. Now that I have what feels like a hundred different tarot decks and oracle decks, I have so much more appreciation for this one and its simplicity. The tarot/oracle is a tool and I feel that anyone can take it or leave it. I don’t know if there is any power in the actual cards or if it is all about the reader. I suppose a little psychology is at play, as well. Angel Oracle Personal Reading: Opal

Messages from Your Angels Oracle Cards

Message: Your children on Earth and in Heaven are happy and well cared for by God and the angels.

I looked at the clock earlier today and it was 2:22PM so I decided to draw a card from my angel oracle deck. The message I received was totally unexpected and it stopped me in my tracks. Let me give a little backstory.

I have one child who recently celebrated her eighth birthday. Whenever anyone asks me how many children I have, I tell them I have one, which is true. I have one living child. However, I miscarried a child before I gave birth to my precious little girl. I think about that child all the time. I have even theorized that my daughter was actually the child that I lost during my first pregnancy, but she was so determined to be here with me that she came back as the child that she is now. I don’t know that I’ve ever believed that though. Deep down inside I feel like that was a different child than my daughter. I also felt that that child would’ve been my son.

I still have many childbearing years to go, but the clock is ticking. I go back and forth with myself about whether I’ll ever have another one or if I really want to have another one. I think I do, but I’d like to have it under better circumstances than what I had in my first two. On top of that, since my mother crossed over I haven’t felt like I’ve wanted to have another child with my mother by my side. Before she passed away she kept seeing a baby. She told me I was pregnant. The mind goes through a lot of things when it is on the brink of death and “hallucinations” are one of the signs that the end is near. I don’t believe that those are always hallucinations. Between all of the women in my immediate family, there have been a few babies lost. But along with wondering if my lost child is still in the spirit world, I wonder if my mom is with that baby. I think she is.

According to this card, my children are well-cared for and I know for a fact that my mom has a lot to do with it. I think the only thing I have left to say about it is that I am grateful.

Good old fashioned cartomancy: Semi-personal reading

Lately, I’ve been receiving signs about someone I used to know. I haven’t spoken to this person in a long time and I have gradually separated myself from them both online and in spirit. Occasionally this person pops up in my dreams.

Over the past few days a picture of them has popped up in my social media feed despite the fact that I unfollowed them and everyone associated with them. What’s funny is that when we were friends online their posts never showed up in my feed. Later that same day, I received a message from this person. It was a group message that went out to many people, probably hundreds, but it was such a coincidence.

In my dreams of this person, they are always inaccessible to me. For instance, I may dream that they are inviting me into their home only for me to enter just as they are leaving. That pretty much sums up what our relationship was like and why we no longer speak today. I’ve had other dreams of this person. In those dreams, I’m either doing something that makes me happy or I’m in a place where I am happy and this person appears and is trying to get my attention. Isn’t that how it usually goes in real life?

Anyway, I decided to be nosy and read their cards. It has been a very long time since I’ve done this. The last time I did it was a couple of years ago and in that time, I’ve moved on with my life but I have taken notice to the things that have publicly unfolded for them. The cards were right. Based on the cards I read today, they’re not happy. My guess is that the romantic relationship they are in is in trouble or it will be soon. That’s none of my business though, so I won’t reach out to them. I just felt a tugging on my spirit. I’m afraid to ask the cards what comes next, especially if it involves them coming back into my life in any way.
